Pauline Brandt

Pauline Brandt’s career spans TV and Radio broadcasting on a local, national, and international level. It also includes corporate films, voice-overs, media consultancy, public relations, lecturing at universities, and speaking at events.  Pauline has delivered internal and external communications campaigns in several businesses and cultural contexts, including at the University of Oxford.

Pauline has worked in mainstream news on television as a reporter/presenter on BBC South. She also covered arts news on BBC Radio 4 and for ITV Meridian and anchored TV bulletins at BBC World News.

Over the years, Pauline has delivered media consultancies for a range of organisations, including Hampshire Constabulary and the chiropractic business startup HealthShak in Chiswick, London. She recently coached the founder to deliver a TEDTalk on ‘Mind Your Backs!’—how to take care of your posture while working from home during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Pauline has chaired a number of events, including ‘Learning and Legacy’, marking the one–year anniversary of George Floyd’s death for Grant Thornton staff.

Pauline is also a trained Audio Describer – scripting and delivering live commentary on plays in London theatres, for blind and visually impaired audiences.

In 2018, Pauline brought a lifelong dream to life by building her own home. The agony and ecstasy were captured on a special edition of the iconic self-build TV show Grand Designs: The Street on Channel 4.
